It's easy to visit the Whitefish Area.

Located just north of Brainerd, Minnesota's Whitefish Area is 150 miles north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul.

Directions from the Twin Cities: Take I 94 west, exit at the Clearwater exit. Turn right (north) onto Cty Rd 24. Travel approx. 3 miles to the stoplight at US Hwy 10. Turn left (west) onto Hwy 10. Continue on Hwy 10 past St Cloud and past Little Falls. This road (Hwy 10) transitions into Hwy 371 North just north of Little Falls. As you approach Brainerd/Baxter on Hwy 371, take the BAXTER Hwy 371 (not the business Hwy 371) north through the Brained/Baxter area.

Continue on Hwy 371 north to Nisswa, and then to the Whitefish Area's first town - Pequot Lakes. (Pequot Lakes is approximately 20 minutes north of Brainerd/Baxter.) The Whitefish Area is bound on the west by Pequot Lakes, Jenkins and Pine River, and on the east by Crosslake and Manhattan Beach.
