Paul Bunyan Trail

Experience one of the longest trails in the state of Minnesota. This unique trail starts in Brainerd/Baxter and stretches north all the way to Lake Bemidji State Park (north of Bemidji). When completed, the Paul Bunyan Trail will also connect with the Blue Ox Trail forming one of the longest rail to trail conversions in North America - 210 miles. The Paul Bunyan Trail's smooth paving is ideal for biking, in-line skating, cross country skiing, hiking,and snowmobiling (note: studded tracks are prohibited).
