June 13, 2013: Walleye bite is slowly improving. Lindy Rigs tipped with leeches or a jig/shiner minnow are the best bet. Try the weed edges during lowlight feeding times (early AM). Small northerns will drive you nuts. They are everywhere and hitting all live bait rigs/spoons/ rapalas. For Crappies/Sunfish – afternoon bite seems best in shallower weedy spots. Use a Slip bobber with a split shot/small hook. Try Crappie minnow or tip with a piece of crawler. To catch bass, plastics cast to shore structure (docks, trees, etc.) in the evening have produced very good. Try the Yum Ferocity Tube Baits on a jig with a piece of crawler.
