Hike a trail to climb one of the few remaining useable fire tower in Minnesota and see the vast expanse of forest surrounding the lakes area. Built in 1934, the fire tower is listed on the National Register of Historic Towers. Parking and picnic facilities welcome travelers to this site. This is a favorite spot for geocachers, too, so don't forget your GPS — and a camera!
