There are more than 75 km of groomed and ungroomed cross country ski trails in the area and some are even lighted! Most are very beginner friendly, but there are also trails available for the advanced skier.

Description: Rated expert only. Challenging 16K course which affords stunning views of the Mississippi River. Trails are expertly maintained and groomed by the Brainerd Ski Club and well marked. MN Ski Trail Pass required.

Description: Rated beginner to moderate. The 15K of trails are well maintained and groomed by the Brainerd Nordic Ski Club. 2K of lighted trails are lit until 9PM. Varied terrain thru jack pines savannah, marsh and prairie.

Description:Spider Lake Ski Trail consists of two loops. The north loop is a total of 5.9 Km, the south loop is 6.1 Km. Both loops are rated as most difficult as the terrain is very hilly.
